Man-woman love has always been a popular theme in literature. Marriage has always been seen as the sacred relationship which ties the knot between a man and a woman with never ending vibes of love. While the poem of Bradstreet has focused on her in-depth and peerless love for her husband, the poem of Edward Taylor however has focused more on glorifying the love for God.
